With the application of LiDAR technology to create the 3D maps within the app, the project posed interesting but significant challenges. The primary hurdle the team faced was ensuring the smooth functionality of the app’s editing feature within a 3D environment. Key tasks like movement, rotation, and scaling of components demanded seamless execution to provide users with an intuitive editing experience. Additionally, the app’s memory management posed a significant challenge, especially considering resource-intensive tasks like room scanning and generating 3D objects.
